This photo set loses something by not putting the “Go” arc covers in order, but still, stunning work by JHWIII

The Slits take this song to another level.

Robert Plant’s “Band Of Joy” has to have one of the worst album covers of this year.
Remember when you’d stay in run-down, dodgy B&Bs? And every room would have at least one completely terrifying painting hanging on its wall? Like a clown, or a crying child, or a dog with sad eyes. And you would invariably wake up in the middle of the night, and be transfixed by the painting’s subject staring straight at you with an “I WILL EAT YOUR SOUL” expression, and be too terrified to go to sleep until it was morning?
Yeah. See above.

The Noisettes - Ever Fallen In Love… [Buzzcocks Cover]
For Dr. Martens 50th Anniversary, March 2010.
Noisettes cover Buzzcocks’ Ever Fallen In Love With Someone You Shouldn’t’ve.
The music video is directed by Rankin & Chris.
It’s such a great cover of a great song.
And in the video surprise, surprise, Noisettes vocalist Shingai Shoniwa, can be seen wearing several different pairs of Dr. Martens boots!!
There is another video on you tube about the making of this video, which is well worth a viewing. Here
Oooh, The Noisettes! I love these guys, and while this is a bit of a departure from the styles shown on their last two albums, it’s still a cool cover version.

Not only do I love this kinda art, but I’d freakin’ read the books, too! At least for a laugh!
